Thanks, [Wisconsin](http://www.wisc.edu/). Your loss busted up my NCAA bracket. (Well, ok, [Wisconsin](http://www.wisc.edu/), [Texas](http://www.utexas.edu/), [WSU](http://www.wsu.edu/), [Duke](http://www.duke.edu/)…) The only region I’ve got going well still is San Antonio.
Texas A&M today beat Louisville [72-69](http://msn.foxsports.com/cbk/story/6578094) to get to the Sweet 16 for the first time since 1980. Wow. Three years ago they went winless in the Big XII.
It's Saturday, so I've been watching some college ball, and I've come to realize – Delay of Game penalties kind of defeat the purpose. When called, the ref has to mumble for about 20 seconds, the offense and defense have to reset, and a new 24 second clock starts. I figure every Delay of Game penalty costs a full minute, when had the penalty not been called, the offense probably would've snapped the ball within seconds.
Maybe we need to re-assess that rule, and make it not a dead-ball foul. Let the penalty yardage be taken on the following down.
Browsing CNN last night led me to this article about the Arkansas coach (whose name is Houston Nutt; insert humor here) forcing his players to wear pink when they goofed-off. The coaching team stopped this after people made some claims that the breast cancer support would be offended by this. Up to this point, the article is understandable. The article closes by stating that the coach is considering making players wear burnt orange as punishment in the future, since burnt orange is the color of Arkansas' rival: the University of Texas.
So, went to the Aggie basketball game this weekend. Took pictures. We lost though. But hooray for Tonia getting us seats two rows off the court. That was awesome. So was the homemade lasagna Diann & I made last night; too bad I forgot to bring some to the office to munch on today for lunch though.
But today is Monday. Most people say Mondays suck, but they obviously don't watch Strong Bad E-Mail. After that gets watched, Mondays suck though.
