(Answer) (Category) Digital Photography FAQ's : (Category) Canon EOS-300D / Digital Rebel / KISS Digital FAQ :
What's the difference between the EOS-300D, KISS Digital, and Digital Rebel?
Nothing is different with the actual body. These are names being marketed by Canon in different parts of the world. The KISS Digital is the Japanese codename, EOS-300D and Digital Rebel seem to be used interchangably in the United States and Europe. The KISS Digital is made in Japan, while the Digital Rebel/EOS-300D is made in Taiwan.

However, the lens kits supposedly have some subtle differences. The Japanese KISS Digital supposedly includes a USM driven lens with the same specifications otherwise. The Japanese version is also rumored to be including a lens hood for the supplied 18-55mm. This is also rumor and speculation at this point based on images at different Canon websites (specifically the lens has the red "USM" logo on it on canon.co.jp).
