| FujiFilm's official word is no. However, by putting a special file on the SmartMedia, the camera will load the data in the file into firmware. So, yes it is upgradable. However, FujiFilm does not seem to be putting out an update. There is a grass roots effort to try to figure out a way to make minor changes, however.
