(Answer) (Category) Digital Photography FAQ's : (Category) Fuji FinePix S602Z FAQ : (Category) Power Issues :
Which batteries should I use with the S602Z?
The S602Z uses standard AA size batteries. While the use of Alkaline batteries will work, it will get expensive quickly. Most people recommend rechargable NiMH batteries. The higher the mAh rating on the batteries, the longer they should last. I personally use Kodak 1800mAh batteries with great success (lasting about 300 or so shots without flash). Unlike the 6900, the batteries cannot be charged in-camera, and must be charged externally.
I, personally, have bought all my batteries from Green Batteries http://www.greenbatteries.com/ and couldn't be happier.
